I’ve read a lot about Angel Food Ministries in the past, but I’ve never really checked them out. Perhaps you’ve heard of Angel Food Ministries? Basically, it’s an organization that provides low-cost food packages to the community. It is not a charity organization, there are no income requirements or anything like that. A local church is a host site in my area, and I will be buying my first package this month.
What they do is this; they provide a box of food (the contents change each month) for $30. There are also supplemental pacakges available with the purchase of the main package, like a grilling box, a chicken box, etc. You order and pay for your box by a certain date, then pick up your food at the pre-arranged delivery time. Check out Angel Food Ministries website to find a host site near you, and the schedule for ordering and delivery.
