Here in FrugalVille, we’re experiencing quite the heatwave. As I type this, the temperature is 98 degrees, with the heat index at 104 due to the oppressive humidity. I found a great list of tips on my local Fox station’s website to stay cool on the cheap. Some of the tips are replays of ones we’ve seen many times before, such as don’t leave kids/pets alone in the car, but some are new-to-me information, like using skin products that contain mint, as the mint is cooling and refreshing.
