This is an update to a post I made, Video Game Savings (Frugal Gaming), back on May 17th providing you with some tips on how to cut your family’s gaming costs. Today, I was sent a link to Amazon.com’s Video Games Deal of the Day. They were offering Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (with Wireless Controller) for between 33% and 44% off depending on which version.
- Wii Version: Regular Price - $89.99, Sale Price - $59.99, Savings - 33% ($30.00)
- Xbox 360 Version: Regular Price - $99.99, Sale Price - $59.99, Savings - 40% ($40.00)
- PS3 Version: Regular Price - $99.99, Sale Price - $59.99, Savings - 40% ($40.00)
- PS2 Version: Regular Price - $89.99, Sale Price - $49.99, Savings - 44% ($40.00)
I don’t know but for the version with the wireless controller this seems like some really nice prices. At the top of this page it states:
Each day, the Amazon.com Video Games team selects one or more products for our valued customers at a special, low, one-day-only price. Quantities are limited, so the price is only available while supplies last.
So I figured I would pass this along for all you gamers or thrifty shoppers with gaming families
Lastly, I would like to add that 1stopmom, from the mommygamer blog pointed out that if you are a frequent shopper at Best Buy, you can save up your reward certificates for use towards a future gaming purchase. She also added that Hollywood Video has monthly gaming passes as well. Thanks for stopping by 1stopmom!
