As I was getting my Donna Reed on, cleaning up the kitchen, I had a thought. I have $75 left on a gift card for my grocery store of choice, ShopRite. So I’m wondering if I can feed my family of 6 for a week on that $75. What do you all think? It’ll be QUITE the challenge, I know, but it could possibly be done, right?? I would PASS OUT if I did it!
It would involve a lot of scratch cooking, that’s for sure, but you know what? Scratch cooking is better for my family anyway, so why not? My issue is, I have a few children who eat like it’s their last meal on death row!
I have a few staples in the house, but not a ton, so that presents me with another challenge. BUT I do have $15 in Baby Bucks certificates and Catalina coupons to use up, so that’s a little bonus right there.
Did I mention we have four cats, too?
