I noticed on my travels that McDonald’s will be giving away a free Southern Chicken sandwich with any large drink purchase on May 15th. They have a breakfast or a lunch version!
While I hate to delve into the realm of politics, I can’t pass on the opportunity to not point out an incredible deal when I see one. If you really can’t wait until May 15th or you miss the May 15th event then you can simply hope that during this election season you live in an area like Philadelphia where it is not uncommon to “help voters” decide who to vote for or fill out their voter registrations forms with free food. The Philadelphia political machine has a knack for this.
The Election Journal reports that in certain neighborhoods (those deemed to favor Barack Obama) you could get a “Free McDonalds Sandwich with Voter Registration“. Then on election day itself the Ward Leaders were distributing vouchers to their poll workers to entice voters as seen in this “Interview outside a Philadelphia ‘Free Sandwich’ McDonalds”
So make sure you get to your local McDonalds this May 15th, 2008 or come to Philadelphia where election time is season full of freebies for those of us looking to pinch a penny.
